The Mannsbunad on the boy doll was made by Marit Os from Sondre Land.   Given to Landings Lag in 2000 by the Mayor of Nordre Land, Rolf Odegard and the Mayor of Sondre Land, Reidar Eriksen, at the Lands Museum in Dokka, Norway, accepted by Lag President, Oscar Lund. BRONZE MINIATURE LOGGING STATUE – Rolf Odegard Mayor of the municipality of Nordre Land was represented by Geir S. Loeng who presented the Logging Statue to the Landings Lag in 2001 at Rapid City, SD, accepted by the Lag President, Sandy Hendrickson.  The mayor’s committee for cultural affairs said: “The municipality of Nordre Land wants to acknowledge the way the Landingslaget in America has preserved Norwegian culture in general, and especially the “Land culture” in the United States. Nordre Land wants to reward Landingslaget for its excellent and extensive work through ninety years, and present to the lag a miniature of the logging statute in bronze made by the sculptor “Erik Tandberg”.
