Landingslag along with all the other bygdelag have long wished for a space where they could store their genealogical libraries and make them more accessible to the public while maintaining the lag's control over their contents.  This joint venture with Norway House achieves that goal! Once this project is completed, Landingslag will continue to bring its research collection to annual stevne and certain volumes will be kept by the genealogist(s) for their regular use.  Providing storage that meets archival standards and making the lag's valuable collection of research materials available to the public will ensure that the books, journals, family histories, and papers collected over decades will be available long into the future!
